Concentrates and ready-to-use products

How concentrates and ready-to-use products differ, and what it means for your range.

Written by Nick Lewis
Concentrates are diluted by the user at the rates on the product page. Ready-to-use products are supplied at use strength. Read next: Product information, dilution rates and technical data sheets.
  • Each product page shows whether the product is a concentrate or ready to use.

  • Concentrates, such as snow foam concentrate and rinse wax, are diluted by the user. The product page shows the recommended dilution rates, and the technical data sheet gives more detail.

  • Ready-to-use products are supplied at use strength.

  • For concentrates, your label must give the dilution rates. The hazard information on the label is for the product as supplied, not the diluted product.

  • A different strength is a change to the formula, which makes it a custom formulation with a 1,000 litre minimum per product.

  • Snow foam is coloured with a separate snow foam dye, supplied separately and added at use.

Your next step: Check each product page for whether it is a concentrate, and its dilution rates, before you plan your range.
